About the Event

Virtualtech Frontier (VTF) had the privilege of collaborating with KPJ Healthcare on an unprecedented project, crafting an immersive technology experience for the launch of Damansara Specialist Hospital 2 (DSH2). As the new flagship hospital in Damansara, DSH2 showcases state-of-the-art medical facilities and cutting-edge equipment. Our team was entrusted with creating a range of immersive solutions:

  • Immersive tunnel experience
  • Holobox
  • 3D forced perspective launch video
  • Digital signing technology

KPJ Healthcare Berhad, a prominent provider of private healthcare services with a network of 29 specialist hospitals, aimed to revolutionize care through advanced healthcare technologies at DSH2. The hospital is designed as a smart and green facility, leveraging AI-driven Electronic Medical Records and an IoT network for seamless integration of processes, systems, and experiences throughout the facility.

Video: Digital Signing by Sultan of Johor

The highlight of the launch event was the digital signing ceremony, officiated by Tunku Ibrahim Ismail ibni Tunku Mahmud Iskandar, the Sultan of Johor. Our team developed a custom software that projected the live signing in real-time on a large screen. Following the signing, the official 3D forced perspective launch video for DSH2 captivated the audience.

During the immersive tunnel experience, guests were greeted by a digital host through a Holobox, which served as a virtual guide, providing an introduction to the event and showcasing interactive activities. Inside the tunnel, guests engaged with touchpoints on a screen, revealing an informative video about KPJ’s vision for modern healthcare.
